Hi Ethan

David Tye advised me to contact you, about Trees for Africa's activities or plans in Ghana.

Jatropha Africa cultivates 100 Ha of Jatropha in the Brong Ahafo Region, and manages relationships with 50 smaller farmers. We have an Improved variety of Jatropha, which is high yielding and provides a good early crop.

We have sold these JA Improved Jatropha seeds to research centres in the UK, Italy and to a European oil company. However we would prefer to have an agreement for them to be supplied for use in Ghana, as part of a small farmer friendly programme.
We have a land use, jobs and profit sharing agreement with three villages in the Brong Ahafo Region.

We are interested in other tree varieties, beyond Jatropha.

I look forward to hearing more of Trees for the Future.

Kind regards - Clive Coker
