On the 17th & 18th October 2012 the second Clean Technology business and investment matchmaking conference for the African continent is to be held at the Sandton Convention Centre South Africa.
Called Viridis Africa, the event is dedicated to entrepreneurs and corporates who are seeking funding to introduce clean technology solutions and services.
Principals who would present their business opportunities at this event would have the audience of numerous local and foreign investors, stratified according to their interest and investment criteria.
Investors would include venture capital, private equity, project and corporate finance outfits and others dedicated to the clean tech sector. They would also include North American, European funding agencies, major Asian industrial conglomerates, technology specific investment funds and major companies who seek strategic alliance and acquisitions.

What is your formation? Are you a biologist, engineer, quemist? I woulfd like to know it. I am a biologist, especialized on Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I work with microalgae and cyanobacteria for the production of products of commercial interest.

I spend almost one year in Nigeria in the early 1980`s mapping Akure Township, Ondo state.
We had a very nice time doing the survey of the whole township and the surounding areas together with a Nigerian surveying Company, Orole Assosiates.
I have not been to Nigeria since, but have visited both Benin and Ghana in the late 1990`s.
Spend more than three years in Zambia and the southern part of Africa about ten years ago.
