67th Ordinary Session of council of Ministers holds in ABUJA

The two-day 67th Ordinary Session of the ECOWAS Council of Ministers opens at the Commission on Monday 19th December 2011 to among other issues, consider the outcome of the last Ministerial Monitoring Committee meeting on the negotiation of the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) between West Africa and the European Union.

Africa Cellular pins last hope on restructure

Africa Cellular Towers, which operates in African cellular and power-line markets, said macroeconomic factors and continued depressed trading conditions hit its interim results for the six months ended August.

Despite a slight improvement on the same period last year, the manufacturer, supplier and installer of cellular lattice towers said if steps to restructure the business failed the company may cease to be a going concern.
