Salvo Global has launched a Masterclass that targeted at Engineers and other technical staff who do not have formal training in financial management, but who require a better understanding of the concepts of cost management and capital project evaluation. We really wish Engineers or Technical experts like you could spare time to attend this Masterclass
OK. Look over the F&S files your RSA office produced something of Jatropha Curcas Linn last year or end of 07. We have a lot of investors(?) out there still convinced that transesterfication of Vegetable oil will deliver. In terms of energy conversion to market values I have not been able to qualify this ideology leading to an economic statement. I am still getting feedback on the costs of Hydro-processing technologies, Biomass to liquid and CHP as well as other desirable large scale processing to deliver value added commodities from Jatropha-Castor agriculture. I can see any reduction from professional agriculture though, so $4000USD per Ha to first harvest opportunity is reasonably fixed. JCL-Castor large scale agricultural extension can only be considered at strategic locations that offer all of the desirable conditionality that allow for least cost shortest high volume routes to market deliverables.
