An Africa Business Community
AFRICEF-2 will bring together leading clean energy entrepreneurs in Africa with investors, fund managers and financiers that specialize in Africa’s clean energy sector. The Forum will showcase 10 specially selected clean and renewable energy projects from around Africa. These projects were selected for their commercial viability and environmental benefits from over 85 project submissions and have all received intensive coaching on the preparation of their business plans and investor pitches from CTI PFAN professional advisors. The previous cycle of AFRICEF in 2010 led to 4 of the 9 projects raising just over USD 13 million with more project closures pending. A number of the best other projects from the AFRICEF-2 applicants will also be in attendance at the Forum and ready to interact with potential investors. Information about the Forum is available at http://www.cti-pfan.net/events_detail.php?eventsid=38
For investors, AFRICEF-2 is a great opportunity to access a select group of clean energy projects with high profit potential, which have benefited from expert advice and coaching. It also provides a place to network with entrepreneurs, project developers and other market participants and learn more about the market for clean energy investment and financing in Africa.
AFRICEF-2 is primarily targeted at investors and financiers, including philanthropic and social investors as well as donors, engaged in the clean energy and technology sectors in Africa. However, all other market participants and stakeholders in the sector are invited to attend the Forum. There is no charge for participation.
